This EP contains a few selected excerpts for a work-in-progress project called Steel Barrel and Blade. The selected musical pieces create a sort of abridged version of the soundtrack in it's current state. It brings some of the best songs to the table to establish what it is and what it sets out to do, as well as a few demos to give the listener more content to engage with.

This is a project that I've been working on over the course of 6 or so months. It is something that I have had on the back burner until recently, when I began making the soundtrack sometime in late May/early June of 2022. Now, I’ve decided that the songs in this EP are at a level of quality that is fit to be publicly released.

There were several more songs that were a part of this project, but I've held them back for the time being because they were not up to my standards of quality (now included in the B-side, which you can download for free). As the project is further developed and expanded, more of these songs will be rearranged, remade and polished to a quality that is fit for public availability. If you wish to hear more, your fanaticism is very much appreciated, and your financial and communal support would be very much appreciated as well.
